TELEPROFIT predictive dialers.

UsedDialers.com does not deal in antiques and we are not interested in buying any AMCAT or ETS Teleprofit predictive dialers. These are not legal to use for business to consumer predictive dialing and are not even supported by their manufacturer. There is usually a "flavor of the week" company selling them on Ebay for about $3,000 complete for 8 people. We used to use the ETS/AMCAT Teleprofit predictive dialer in our call center. We had them for 3 weeks and our supervisors felt like all they got done was supervise, maintain and "boot-up" the DOS agent stations. Even the so-called Windows-based Teleprofit do not allow you to use a mouse or a hard drive. Each morning you have to turn on the agent computers with a "boot disc". When you make a script change you have to copy it to 8 flopy discs before your agents can use it.

If you are currently using ETS dialers then we will give as much as $1,200.00 in trade for a complete system minus the agent computers. We are mostly interested in the parts like bocca boards, amplifiers and cards for existing users with broken systems. We have replaced many Teleprofit dialers so call us for some references if you are considering an upgrade.

AMCAT ETS Teleprofit predictive dialer

We used to use these same predictive dialers in our call center over 10 years ago. They were outdated then and are even more out dated now. Here is a small list of problems with them:

  • Inability to maintain a 3% abandonment rate as required by the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule.
  • They break in shipping.
  • Inability to play a pre-recorded message to abandon's as required by the Telemarketing Sales Rule.
  • Inability to share lines with more than 8 agents which makes these systems slower than most.
  • The agent stations run off of DOS. Some systems run from a windows server but are still controlled via DOS.
  • The Teleprofit predictive dialers have not been made for over 10 years and are not supported by any manufacturer. Many used systems on the market are 20 or more years old.
  • Nearly impossible to maintain a do not call list for more than one campaign.
  • These have a history of breaking.
  • Good headsets designed to work with the system very expensive and hard to find. This has flooded the market with low quality modified headsets.
  • Amplifiers are even harder to find with most costing $60 or more each where today's predictive dialers do not require special headsets or amplifiers.
  • No recording capabilities.
  • No manufacturer updates available.
  • DO NOT BUY THESE SYSTEMS OFF OF EBAY.
  • The manufacturers who made these systems are still around and if you use their software you legally are supposed to pay them a re licensing fee. Manufacturers are known to sue over this if they find out you are running THEIR software without a license.
  • Most run at a 25% abandonment rate.
  • You can not monitor from more than one pool of 8 agents without moving to another computer.
  • Very time consuming to operate.
  • DOS boot-up.
  • Very, very, very illegal to run for business to consumer campagins.
  • Technical support is only handled by a few individuals. If your dialer goes down and they are busy or on vacation good luck getting the parts you need to get the system running again.
